The 9th annual Smithers Festival of Trees is now over.

This year we raised $30,109, for a 9 year total of more than $260,000

Our 2023 Charity

Our Festival of Trees committee includes the commitment of the Glacier Toyota Management & Staff, Community Members, as well as Team Members from the Northwest Child Development Centre and the Bulkley Valley Salvation Army.

This year the Salvation Army has experienced some changes and is unable to participate in the Festival of Trees, with the hope of returning next year. The Northwest Child Development Centre’s team is excited about this year’s event. The funds raised will help increase our accessibility resources for children and youth, as well as program enhancements at the Regional Centre in Smithers. This center supports various group activities (i.e. playgroups, life skills and parenting supports) for children, youth and their families. Further information will be shared throughout the Festival of Trees.
